Eastreet 4

I just came back from the "Eastreet 4" opening and book launch at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, Poland. Its great to have my work included in exhibition and the book. I know both will be travelling around the world.

Few snaps from the opening night.

I came over by train from Rzeszów to meet by brother in Lublin and go to the ceremony after dinner but unfortunately we were a bit late - restaurant we chose to eat in after a very long day was probably the slowest i have ever been to with serving and food we were given at the end unfortunately wasn't worth the wait... it took them about 1.5h to serve slightly burnt pork chops and a plate of crackers served under a name of plate of cheeses. Fortunately we fixed it with a bottle of wine and it was quickly forgotten.

After a nice night in Lublin we came back by car.

Oh yeah, I had a little talk about my work as well.

About a year and a half from the time filming of movie "Maze", where I was still photographer, it finally premiered during Cork Culture Night 2017. Below few photographs from the premiere and link to gallery with photographs from the film set (just click on the burning policeman).

Maze. On location, streets of Cork.

Warp and Weft

Few memories from the opening of "Warp and Weft", a joint exhibition by Marcin Lewandowski and Orla Byrne during Cork Photo 2016 festival. Video is of short opening speech by Roseanne Lynch and below few installation shots with link to gallery of my exhibited images.

Laugh can be contagious. Especially when you bump into a group of signing Spanish ladies while photographing dancing Indian ladies. Around Camden Palace.
